Are you a software engineer with 1–2 years of experience ready to take direct ownership of high-impact, production systems?
We are looking for a Software Engineering Associate to join a leading team building Sri Lanka’s largest educational payments platform (Colombo-based client project).
⚡ What You’ll Be Doing: • Build and maintain core application features using PHP (Symfony), Twig, jQuery, and Bootstrap. • Work directly on payment gateway (IPG) integrations, admin tools, reporting, and analytics modules. • Deliver high-performance, production-ready code emphasizing system reliability and security. • Debug and optimize complex workflows alongside experienced software architects.
🎯 What We Are Looking For: • Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on software development experience (or a strong equivalent project portfolio). • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Tech Stack: Solid command of PHP (OOP), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL. • Tooling: Practical experience with Git, Linux environments, and Docker. • Mindset: Strong debugging capabilities, high accountability when handling critical data, and good English communication skills.
🌟 Nice to Have: • Prior exposure to IPG (Payment Gateway) integrations. • Exposure to AWS or Terraform.
