About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Automation Engineer to strengthen Quality Engineering and test automation capabilities across complex, production-grade software projects.
In this role, you won’t just execute test cases—you will engineer quality. You’ll work alongside Developers, Business Analysts, Technical Leads, and Architects, leveraging modern technologies and AI-enabled engineering practices to build reliable, high-performing enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Testing: Design and execute functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing for complex workflows, APIs, and integrations.
- Automation Engineering: Build, evolve, and maintain robust test automation frameworks to increase coverage, reliability, and delivery speed.
- Root-Cause Analysis: Investigate defects and production incidents beyond surface-level symptoms to ensure long-term system stability.
- Early Risk Identification: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle and improve overall system testability.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of professional QA and software testing experience on production-level applications.
- Automation Skills: Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent) and strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Web & API Expertise: Solid understanding of HTML, DOM behavior, browser DevTools, network requests, and API/integration testing.
- Core QA Principles: In-depth knowledge of test design, defect management, risk-based testing, and UI/UX fundamentals.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with a strong growth mindset.
Added Advantage
- Domain experience in Healthcare, Apparel, or Manufacturing.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipeline automation, performance testing, or distributed systems.
- Experience testing AI-enabled applications.
- ISTQB certification.
