We are looking for dynamic candidates to service in the capacity of Medical Delegate . This provides an excellent opportunity to grow in consumer healthcare, FMCG sales & Pharmaceuticals.
Job Role:
Promote company products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) through scientific engagement, in alignment with company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create demand for company brands by delivering scientific product messages and campaigns to doctors.
- Handle questions and concerns related to products, satisfying customer needs based on product attributes.
- Develop the Doctor & Pharmacy list and maintain daily call plans in alignment with marketing guidelines.
- Achieve doctor/chemist reach and coverage, and meet Prescriber, Volume & Value targets specified by business units.
- Maintain hospital and chemist information, and follow up on product movement and distribution frequencies.
- Monitor stock availability, short expiries, and ensure product availability through internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with distributor sales representatives (DSRs), updating them on product promotions.
- Develop the territory business.
- Maintain and ensure movements of all products, and prepare reconciliations of trading and sample goods to and from the medical fraternity.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
- Passed A/L
- Part qualification in Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing would be advantageous
- Any degree from a recognized university is desirable
- Effective communication skills in English and any one local language (Sinhala/Tamil)
- 1–2 years of experience in Sales & Marketing (experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, or consumer healthcare industries is an advantage)
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Valid Driving License – Mandatory
