Job Profile: Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant to join the team at our client’s Manufacturing Plant in Horana. This crucial role focuses on financial management and cost control within the plant operations. Key duties include:
- 📊 Preparation of plant expense budgets and comprehensive budgetary control.
- 💰 Performing Standard Costing (STD) and detailed variance analysis.
- 📈 Monitoring and reporting on material/activity utilization within the monthly production process.
- 📝 Preparing financial management reports tailored for manufacturing plants.
- 🔗 Coordinating with procurement staff to optimize raw/packing material inventory levels.
- 🔧 Overall leadership of plant cost management and control.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have the following professional background:
- Qualification: Fully or Partially qualified in CA, CIMA and CMA or any recognized professional accountancy body.
- Education: Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
- Experience: ESSENTIAL – Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in STD costing and related reporting.
- Advantage: Familiarity with ERP SAP PP module will be a distinct advantage.
